Godolphin Chambers was founded in 1990 and remains the only barristers' chambers in Cornwall.

We aim to provide a professional and friendly service tailored to local needs in all areas of law, routinely covering courts and tribunals from Penzance to Exeter. Members of Chambers also cover other courts in the South West and further afield.

Our skilled and experienced practitioners are able to cover the full spectrum of legal work. Most members have previously practised in London or Bristol and some maintain specialist practices throughout the England and Wales jurisdiction. We have a breadth of legal experience and consistent high standards.

The three broad practice areas in Chambers are family, civil and crime with specialists in all fields. We accept publicly and privately funded work.

As well as our long working relationships with local solicitors, we have considerable experience in managing cases and clients on behalf of solicitors from out of County who are unable to attend court themselves. We pride ourselves on providing a comprehensive and competitive service in all aspects of advocacy and advisory work And will endeavour to undertake urgent work in court, in writing or by telephone wherever possible.
