Annie came to the Bar from a nursing background specialising in Accident and Emergency care in Central London, later to include lecturing and a management role. While in practice she has increasingly specialised in family law. Her practice covers children, public and private law and ancillary relief. Of particular interest to her are cases to do with removal from the jurisdiction, and non-accidental injuries.

Annie has been a bellringer since she was 14 and is involved with the local guild of ringers. Her interests include walking, cycling, squash and learning Greek.
