Colin came to the Bar from a mathematical background. He practises in all financial aspects of family law and is ranked in Band 1 in the UK Chambers Guide 2008. His practice covers ancillary relief, TOLATA and Inheritance Act claims. He also practises in land law, especially disputes concerning boundaries, adverse possession, easements and restrictive covenants, and is one of a handful of practitioners with experience of Cornish Stannary Law and the ancient custom of tin bounding. His common law practice includes landlord and tenant (commercial and residential) and homelessness law.

Cases of interest

His interests include archaeology and the Cornish landscape.
