Jenny read law at Trinity College, Cambridge, before completing the Bar Vocational Court at Manchester Metropolitan University. Jenny was called to the Bar in October 2005 by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, having been awarded a Harmsworth Scholarship. After practising in Manchester she joined Godolphin Chambers in January 2009.

Jenny undertakes work in all aspects of Family Law including public and private child law, matrimonial finance and cohabitation cases. Jenny’s experience in the criminal field assists her in dealing with domestic injunctions. Jenny has appeared regularly in the County Court and the Family Proceedings Court, and has been successful on Appeal to the High Court.

Jenny’s criminal practice involves Prosecuting and Defending in the Crown and Magistrates’ Courts and her experience spans from benefit fraud to drugs cases to driving matters. Jenny also undertakes work in the field of licensing and regulatory law.

Jenny has appeared regularly in the County Court to deal with Personal Injury litigation and can provide advice on liability and damages in cases involving injured adults and children.

Jenny is a member of the Family Law Bar Association and the Bar Pro Bono Unit. Each year she also assists with the National Schools’ Mock Trial Competition.

Jenny’s interests include surfing, tennis, skiing, speaking Spanish and contemporary dance.
