Jonathan is medically qualified and worked as a doctor for 15 years before retraining for the Bar. He practises exclusively in clinical negligence, personal injury and related professional negligence. His personal injury practice covers both High Court and County Court cases and includes fatal accidents, spinal injury and brain injury cases. He has a particular interest in PTSD and other forms of psychiatric injury, including workplace stress and bullying claims, suicide in prison and chronic pain syndromes. Jonathan has a wide experience of clinical negligence work, including nursing and dental negligence, and across a very broad range of cases involving most medical specialties. He has been engaged for some years in the PTSD Group Litigation against the Ministry of Defence.
Jonathan’s outside interests include old cars, modern literature and walking.
