Tim has a wide civil practice. He has extensive experience in all aspects of employment law, including unfair and wrongful dismissal, sex race and disability discrimination, transfer of undertakings, Working Time Regulations, and terms and conditions of employment. Tim has appeared at courts and tribunals on behalf of both employers and employees. He has also advised and represented members of some of Britain’s largest trade unions, including Unison, GMB, Amicus, Bectu and the TGWU. Tim also has a particular interest in and experience of housing and homelessness law, related pubic law, and landlord and tenant disputes. Many of his cases involve allegations of nuisance and anti-social behaviour. He regularly advises and represents clients in cases concerning contractual disputes, negligence, personal injury, and real property including adverse possession and boundary disputes.
Before being called to the Bar, Tim worked as a fulltime advice worker and tribunal representative for the Greater London Citizens Advice Bureaux Service.
Tim’s interests include most water sports and running.
